The T-shirt design I created for Clandestine Industries has just been released. I received a sample a little while ago and it looks rad. Really great quality print and tee. I’ve had quite a few people contact me trying to track one down, so here’s where you can get one.
I’ve been playing around with making letters out of my illustrations lately for a typography project. Here’s a few examples.

Whilst on the subject of Wooden Toy and exhibitions, this October I’m involved in an exhibition hosted by Wooden Toy.
It’s called Lyrics And Type, it’s at Gorker Gallery, it’s held in conjunction with Semi-Permanent and they’re making a zine to showcase all the works. So essentially it’s going to be grand.
I’m flattered, humbled and slightly terrified at the prospect of exhibiting alongside the 16 seriously amazing artists involved.
The details are on the flyer and you can read more about it at Wooden Toy.

Wooden Toy published a little feature on me today.
You can see (and read) it at Wooden Toy online.
Wooden Toy Quarterly is an exceptionally beautiful publication about art and skateboarding and all that good stuff. It’s created by a bunch of very talented (not to mention friendly) Melbourne kids. If you haven’t seen it already then you should stop reading this and go check it out now. Do it.

I’m lucky enough to be involved in a bunch of rad group shows this October.
The first of these is Tattoo Mystique, which is an exhibition held in conjunction with the launch of Dutch artist Angelique Houtkamp’s new book Tattoo Mystique.
“TATTOO MYSTIQUE is the breath-taking follow up to TATTOO DARLING – a book celebrated for bringing tattoo aesthetic, nostalgia, magical vision together through the art and personality of Dutch artist ANGELIQUE HOUTKAMP.”
There are a bunch of incredible Australian and international artists exhibiting in the show alongside Angelique Houtkamp. Here’s the list:
International Artists
Sunny Buick
Thomas Hooper
Alex Binnie
Mike Giant
Tara McPherson
And Local Australian Artists
Matthew Gordon
Rose Hardy
Kate Knowles
Jane Laver
Rik Lee
I’m pretty psyched about this because these guys are all mind blowingly rad. I mean, Angelique Houtkamp AND Mike Giant!? Too good.
All the details are here.

Just a quick note to thank everyone who came down to the opening of my show Thursday night. It was totally awesome. Y’all rule.
The exhibition is on until September 12 so if you’re in the neighbourhood please drop in to check it out. Gallery hours are Wednesday – Friday 11-6 and Saturday 12-5.
Also, I’m involved in a couple of group shows in the States later this year. New York in October and San Francisco in December. Bam! I’ll be in town for the NY show too which is very exciting. I’ll post the details up here soon. Thanks again.

My exhibition is opening next week. I’m nervous as hell. Please come down to check it out. All the details are on the flyer.

I bought a new BMX today. Then drew this picture to celebrate. Actually, no, I went riding to celebrate, then drew this picture in hope of making back some of the money i spent on the bike.
